Chickpea sauteed salad






This is my favorite chickpeas salad.A salad in different style..A salad that doesnt tastes like a salad..A salad that is perfect for losing weight. A salad that your kids will love to eat and will enjoy.A salad that is so good for summers....Sauteed salad...Too yummy to resist.Can also be made with canned chickpeas but i Love to have fresh....to feel the freshness.

 
 

This sauteed salad is so easy to make.just boiled chickpeas and 5 minutes and you are done.Soak the chickpea in water overnight and next morning boil it in pressure cooker in the same way you boil for making chickpea curry.
 
INGREDIENTS


1 Bowl Boiled white Chickpea
1 Teaspoon Oil  
1 Chopped Onion 
2 Tablespoon Chopped Carrot
2 tablespoon Chopped Tomato 
salt to taste
Red Chili Powder to taste
 

Add 1 Teaspoon Oil to a Frying Pan

   


Add Chopped Onion



Add Chopped Carrot



Add Chopped Tomatoes.You can also add chopped green chilies as well...
 



Add Salt to taste




Add Red Chili Powder to taste



Add the boiled Chickpeas




Mix well and cook for 2 to 3 minutes.





Soya chap tikks masala gravy

Soya Chaap rich in proteins is both healthy as well as tasty.I can eat it any time and my kids are just crazy for it.Earlier i made dry soya chaap masala , which was an instant hit.Now i m posting the pecipe of soya chaap butter masala with gravy.Its upto you whether you will use butter of refined oil.If you want a healthy version of it, go for refined oil else enjoy the aroma of butter.Believe me it is very tasty.



INGREDIENTS


  • Soya chaap - 7-8 pieces
  • Ginger
  • garlic  2-3 clover
  • 3 medium onions
  • 3 large tomatoes
  • 1 bowl curd
  • soya chaap masala
  • coriander powder
  • garam masala
  • salt
  • oil
  • milk
  • cream
  • green coriander


METHOD - HOW TO PREPARE SOYA CHAAP

There are 3 parts in making gravy soya chaap

Part 1  Marinade the soya  sticks


Take 7-8 sticks of pre boiled soya chaap






 Boil the chaap sticks in water in a pan for 5-6 minutes






After  boiling  strain the water using a strainer




 Cut the chaap sticks in small pieces.YOU can leave this step if you would like to have chaap with sticks.









Now  Take half bowl hung curd in a mediul sized bowl.









 Add 1 tb spn soya chaap masala




 1/2 teaspoon salt







 1 teaspoon coriander powder




 1/4 teaspoon garam masala






 Now The curd will look like this.It is ready for marinading the chaap sticks.





  

Marinade the chaap in the curd gravy and keep them in the fridge for 4-5 hours




 PART 2 PREPARING THE SOYA CHAAPS




 Heat oil in a non stick pan






Put the chaap in the pan and cook on medium flame for 5 minutes.
cover the lid.





 Then cook on the other side and add some curd if you find it a little dry.
your yummy chaap is ready.





 

PART 3 -  PREPARING THE GRAVY


HEAT 1 TEASPOON OIL/ BUTTER IN  A pan




Grind the onions, garlic and ginger to a fine paste.Put the paste in the pan and saute it for a while.



Now add the tomato paste and again cook it for 2- minutes.Now add garam masala, salt and soya chaap masala.



When it starts to boil, add half glass milk and 2 tablespoon curd to it and keep sauting it for 2-3 minutes.Stir continuously until the masala simmers.Now add 1/2 cup water to it and cover the lid.Let it cook for 4-5 minutes.



Now add the soya chaaps to the gravy and sprinkle some coriander over it if you want

 

Tipsy pudding recipe

Tipsy Pudding

It is one of the best pudding you can ever have.
Tipsy pudding is also known as English trifle
This  pudding is serve mainly in special formal parties in the Army and is loved by one and all.
I got to learn the recipe from Army people only.
It is normally soaked with wine or brandy but I have replace wine/brandy with orange juice....

You can call it THE TIPSY PUDDING because it is not an normal desert .It is very special and different.
It is so soft that it will just melt in your mouth and you will not be able to stop yourself from eating mor =e and more..

I can just eat the entire tipsy pudding in one go.I just love it.


 

INGREDIENTS


Half kg sponge cake(Pineapple flavor) 
Orange juice 300 ml
Fresh Cream 350 ml
Fresh fruits(mango apple and papaya (diced))
1 small tin fruit cocktail
2-3  tspn Powdered sugar or icing sugar
1 tspn Lemon Juice




Procedure 


Take Fruit cocktail in a bowl and mix fresh fruits in it.



Take fresh cream in another bowl and mix the sugar to it.  
Stir the sugar and cream until light and fluffy(for about 3-4 minutes will suffice)


 

 



 Now take fruits and mix them in the whisk cream




 




 




 Add 1 teaspoon lemon juice to the fruits and mix them again
 

  



Now take the sponge cake and divide it in 3 or 4 equal parts




Cut like this  and arrange it in a rectangular rice tray to form one layer
 


  It will look like this




Now Spray orange juice over the cake like this

 


  Now make another layer of fruit cream on the cake

  


Now make one more of layer of sponge cake on the fruit cream and sprinkle orange juice on it

 


 

  
Again make one more layer of fruit cream on the cake layer



Decorate it with chocolate flakes, chocolate sauce, strawberry sauce or choco sauce(whatever you like the most)

 


Serve it in a plate and eat it and get indulge in the taste of heaven
