How to make vegetable dalia - Indian Porridge recipe

Dalia Loaded with lots of vegetables in one of the healthiest and yummiest one pot meal that you can have for loosing that extra flab and extra pounds.Dalia is basically made from broken wheat and it is very low in fat and carbohydrates, On the other hand it is a rich source of iron and Fibre.If you want to loose weight you can skip chapati and have it for any of the meals- breakfast, lunch or diner.
It is amazing one pot meal.Some people do not like dalia, but if you will make it my way, you gona love it.





 INGREDIENTS FOR VEGETABLE DALIA


1Onion - Sliced
1 Carrot - Sliced
2  Tablespoon Peas
1 Chopped Tomato 
Salt to taste
1/4 Teaspoon Garam Masla
1/4 Teaspoon Red Chili Powder
1/2 Teaspoon Oil


 



     HOW TO MAKE VEGETABLE DALIA  


Add Half teaspoon Oil 




Add Cumin seeds



Add Thinely sliced  Onions , Carrots and Peas..Cook for 2 minutes, then add the chopped tomato





Add Salt to taste




Add Garam Masala





Add Red Chili Powder



Add Roasted Dalia (1 Kharchi)




 Add  Water




 Close the lid of the pressure cooker and cook for 3 whistles...
Healthy and filling meal is ready.


Baby corn and mushroom healthy salad

INGREDIENTS


Mushrooms - 1 packet
babycorn -     20 medium sized
Tomatoes  -  1 large
Broccoli -      1 Medium
Lettuce
Salt to Taste
Pepper to Taste
Olive oil  -  2-3 drops
Lemon Juice
Oregano
Basil
Or any other herb you want to sprinkle on the salad

Method of making Healthy Salad 

  
*    Cut all the veggies length wise in thin slices.

*    Take water in a pan and boil baby corn , mushrooms and broccoli  

*    Make sure that you boil broccoli only for 2 minutes and rest of the veggies for 4-5 minutes.

*    Strain the above vegetables and put them in a large sized bowl.Add chopped tomatoes and lettuce to   
      the boiled veggies.

*   Sprinkle salt,pepper, oregano and basil over them.

*   Add lemon juice and keep it in the refrigerator for 1 hour

Your healthy salad is ready to be served.


Cheese chili corn toast recipe

  

Cheese Chili Corn toast are not only easy to prepare , they re healthy as well So healthy conscious people can also eat them without breaking their diet of feeling guilty.Loved my children and admired my all, these are my personal favorite and a regular breakfast in my home.Though you can use ready made cheese, I have used my Homemade cheese.Not exactly cheese but can easily replace the place of cheese without depriving you of it.So if we have healthy options available at home, why to go for processed stuff....




  Method of preparing the filling


Ingredients

 

Onion - 1 Large
Capsicum - 1 Large 
Corn - Half Bowl
Salt
Pepper
Olive Oil  - Half tspn


Chop the onions 





Chop the peppers/capsicums



Heat 1 tspn Olive oil
and Add onions and corn and cook them on low flame
 

 



Add the peppers and cook them for 5-10 minutes on low flame                
                          

Add half tspn Salt and Half tspn Pepper



Keep the filling aside

 


Now We will make cheese
The method of making cheese is similar that of white sauce .


Method of making CHEESE 


Ingredients
Butter -  1 Tspn
Refined Flour- 1 Tspn
Milk
Salt
Pepper
Oregano
Chili Flakes
Thyme
Basil

PROCEDURE  

Heat 1 Tspn Butter In a pan




Add 1 Tspn Refined flour to it and stir it so that no lumps are formed.




Add half glass cold milk and stir it continuously



Now add Half Tspn Salt and pepper to taste(in case you want)
Your cheese for the sandwiches are ready



You can add seasoning of your choice like oregano, thyme, basil or chili flakes.

 

Mix the cooked veggies in the cheese




Take bread slices and spread the filling on the breads.
Spread it in the center .
Do not spread it on the whole bread as the cheese will come out while grilling them 


   



Keep them in the grill Sandwich maker for 2-3 minutes
Your yummy and healthy sandwiches are ready to be served
Serve them with tomato ketchup, garlic chutney or coriander chutney
